Types  Of  Entertainment Media
Live Entertainment
   Live Entertainment is defined by statute as meaning any activity provided for pleasure, enjoyment, recreation, relaxation, diversion or other similar purpose by a person or persons who are physically present when providing an activity to a patron or group of patrons who are physically present.

Theater/Theatre
   It is a collaborative form of fine art that uses live
performers, typically actors, to present the experience of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage. The performers may communicate this experience to the audience through combinations of gesture, speech, song, music, and dance. Elements of art, such as painted scenery and stagecraft such as lighting are used to enhance the physicality, presence and immediacy of the experience. The specific place of the performance is also named by the word "theatre" as derived from the Ancient Greek θέατρον (théatron, "a place for viewing"), itself from θεάομαι (theáomai, "to see", "to watch", "to observe").

Circus
   A company of performers that may include clowns, acrobats, trained animals, trapeze acts, musicians, hoopers, tightrope walkers, jugglers, unicyclists, as
well as other object manipulation and stunt-oriented artists. The term 'circus' also describes the performance which has followed various formats through its 250-year modern history. Philip Astley is credited with being the 'father' of the modern circus when he opened the first circus in 1768 in England. Early circuses were almost exclusively demonstrations of equestrian skills with a few other types of acts to link the horsemanship performances. Performances developed significantly through the next fifty years, with large scale theatrical battle reenactments becoming a significant feature. The 'traditional' format, whereby a ringmaster introduces a varied selection of acts that mostly perform choreographed acts to traditional music, developed in the latter part of 19th century and continued almost universally to be the main style of circus up until the 1970s.

   Mobile entertainment comprises a range of activities associated with mobile electronics.
   These are the types of Mobile Entertainment Media. This entertainment includes modern technology like computer, television, cellphone, iPad, laptop and many more. But there some of the types of this media is not prohibited to entertain or watch by kids.

Mobile TV
   Television is an inescapable part of modern culture. We depend on TV for entertainment, news, education, culture, weather, sports—and even music, since the advent of music videos.
   With more and more ways of viewing TV available we now have access to a plethora of both good quality and inappropriate TV content. In this crowded television environment, the key is to provide young children with a guided viewing experience and to model and teach them the critical thinking skills they need to be active, engaged viewers.

Mobile Music
   Mobile music is music which is downloaded or streamed to mobile phones and played by mobile phones. Although many phones play music as ringtones, true "music phones" generally allow users to stream music or download music files over the internet via a WiFI connection or 3G cell phone connection. Music phones are also able to import audio files from their PCs. The case of mobile music being stored within the memory of the mobile phone is the case similar to traditional business models in the music industry. It supports two variants: the user can either purchase the music for outright ownership or access entire libraries of music via a subscription model. In this case the music files are available as long as the subscription is active.

Mobile Games
   Mobile games are games designed for mobile devices, such as smartphones, feature phones, pocket PCs, personal digital assistants (PDA), tablet PCs and portable media players. Mobile games range from basic (like Snake on older Nokia phones) to sophisticated (3D and augmented reality games).
   Today’s mobile phones - particularly smartphones - have a wide range of connectivity features, including infrared, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G. These technologies facilitate wireless multiplayer games with two or more players.

   Because most mobile devices have limited system resources, mobile game features are not as rich as games designed for PCs or gaming consoles. For example, only one mobile device (as of late 2011) - the Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY - is equipped with a dedicated gaming controller. In most mobile devices, the keypad doubles as gaming controller. Smartphones have touch screen displays for user input.
   Augmented reality games are the latest mobile gaming trend. These programs combine a real-world environment with advanced computer graphics to provide the effect of augmented reality. In actuality, a live image of the player's room is captured by the device camera and fed to the display screen, resulting in augmented reality to the player.
   Advanced mobile games usually require fast central processing units (CPU), dedicated graphics processing units (GPU), large random access memory (RAM) and high-resolution display screens. Most developers use a royalty-free, cross-platform application programming device known as OpenGL ES to write games with 2D or 3D graphics.

   Mobile infotainment is the delivery of information-based content in an entertaining way across tablets, feature phones and smartphones. Infotainment takes many forms, from mobile news alerts to mobile gaming content.
   Infotainment is becoming a major revenue stream for mobile operators in EMEA, MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa. Mobile infotainment services provide subscribers with customized on-demand mobile content and mobile entertainment services.
   As it is subscription-based, infotainment services add value through a steady stream of customised content, that in turn generate additional revenue for mobile operators, significantly raising average revenue per user (ARPU). A broad range of mobile content has also been proven to improve the mobile customer experience and reduce churn.

   Mobile gambling refers to playing games of chance or skill for money by using a remote device such as a tablet computer, smartphone or a mobile phone with a wireless internet connection.
